Nathan Who?

After a break in employment I decided it was a good time to go see the world. I took a year off and travelled around the globe in search of new and interesting culture, food and people in my life. I found exactly that and more. Travelling is less about the place and more about the people you meet (both locals and other travellers). I did the whole trip (excluding the first 2 weeks in Ireland) alone but I was never alone as there was always a new friend around the corner.

My family means alot to me as I have 3 brothers (2 older) and 1 sister. Aside from one brother we all live close to each other still and not a week goes by without a phone call or visit. My friends are also very close to me and I miss them when ever I am away.

When I am not travelling the world or trying to conquer the business world I have many other passions. Motorcycling takes up alot of my time and I have progressed from street bikes (race bikes) to enduros (dual sports). I blame this latest thrill on the writings of Neil Peart (Rush's drummer) and Ewan McGregor who have done journeys on a similar BMW motorcycle. I also enjoy running, squash, soccer and the occassional volleyball game. As an avid film buff I have a huge home theatre and entertain a movie night regularly. On my world travel I started to read for fun again. I used to read only for work so this is a new found joy in my life even if I only try and read non-fiction still.
